Sean Payton Is Officially Named Denver Broncos New Head Coach For Upcoming NFL Season
Formerly, several US media had currently reported all throughout the week.
According to details from the sports broadcaster ESPN, Payton receives a five-year contract with the Broncos.
They needed to agree with the New Orleans Saints in advance, in which the 59-year-old Payton was still under agreement.
The Broncos, according to the info, provide the Saints a first-round ballot right in the upcoming draft for young players.
Payton is one of the most popular coaches of the NFL and won the Super Bowl with the Saints in 15 years as head coach.
In Denver, he is supposed to lead quarterback Russell Wilson back to old strength for the Broncos after a frustrating first season and the team into the play-offs.
I’m eagerly anticipating the challenge, stated Payton in an interview released on the Broncos Twitter channel.
Payton along with Bronco’s owner Greg Penned stressed that it is about making the traditional franchise successful once again.
