Niantic to hold ‘Niantic Community Day’ on the 17th

Niantic.inc (Niantic) announced on the 12th that it will hold the Niantic Community Day on Sunday, the 17th.

Niantic Community Day, which started in March of this year, is an event designed to encourage communities from all over the world to gather at local attractions to explore together.

Especially in the field, players can enjoy games together and form bonds with each other, so this summer will be an opportunity to connect the community through outdoor activities.

A Niantic brand ambassador visits the site and presents gifts on a first-come, first-served basis for 3 hours from 11 am to 2 pm local time. In Korea, it is held at Ilsan Lake Park.

In Pokémon GO on this day, from 11 am to 2 pm, the starling Pokémon ‘Chirco’ occurs in large numbers, and if you are lucky, you may encounter ‘Chirco’ of a different color.

In addition, you can get more items than usual when you visit popular park Pokestops located across the country, providing useful benefits for Community Day.

In ‘Pikmin Bloom’, a big flower blooms as a lily for one day to commemorate Community Day, and a special lily badge will be given when 10,000 steps are reached.
