Xbox Series X: Documentation wins webby
With the documentation Power on: The Story of Xbox, the console from Microsoft was paid to the 20th anniversary last year. In a way that apparently liked a wide crowd.
This year the webbies were awarded for the 26th time. The webbies are an award for internet content in the following categories:
- Websites and mobile sites,
- Media & PR,
- Apps and software,
- Virtual & remote.
In each of these categories there are two prizes to be won, the official webby award, which is awarded by a body called Iadas (International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences), and the prize that is chosen by the people, the webby People’s Voice Award.
The Microsoft Doku, which addresses the emergence and history of the Xbox, was able to win one of these awards. The webby People’s Voice Award in the video category, with the subcategories Documentation (Video Series & Channel).
According to the New York Times, it is “The Internet’s Highest Honor” , i.e. the highest honor of winning such a prize.
A look at the documentation is worthwhile for every fan of the Xbox or gamer in general to get an insight into the events behind the scenes.
