Kruses contract in Berlin ran to the end of the season – now he will change half a year before. The 33-year-old already played in the 2015/16 season for the wolves and at Werder Bremen under today’s Wolfsburg Trainer Florian Kohfeldt. There is a transfer fee of five million euros.

Kruse accepts a “long-term and highly doped offer”
“Thank you all for your trust in me – and now I ask you for your understanding of my decision, an offer that is long-term and highly doped,” says Kruse. “This is about an association, where I have left a chapter open, which I can end up to end. No decision is easy, and I know what to come to me now – but it’s my decision.”

With the Wolfsburgers, Kruse signs a contract until June 30, 2023 – subject to the sports medical examination, which will take place on Monday. In 2019, Kruse had left Werder in the direction of Fenerbahce and had returned to the Bundesliga a year later – to Berlin. For Union, he has since reached 38 Bundesliga Games, 16 Goals and Elf Assists. In the current season, he is with five hits and six templates Topscorer at the European Cup Aspirant, which is located in the fourth place in the table before the 21st matchday.
